John 3: 16, 17, 19

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. v 16

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. v 17

This is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. v 19
